I like the kid he is exciting but Ann Wolf, who may have more of a calling as a fitness trainer, obviously can't get this kid where he needs to be skill wise.

Someone please tell me how Kirkland beats any of the top super welterweights with the sloppy performance he put on last night?

Yeah, but it'll be fun while it lasts...

I like watching him but I think he might be a Jeff Lacy. If he doesn't end up in the same ****hole, I will be pleasantly surpised

Dont get me wrong Im definitely watching all of his fights, and Jeff Lacy is the best comparison I have seen on here concerning Kirkland. I was hoping Kirkland would show up with improved foot movement, skill and stick to a strategy of breaking Julio down but he just mad rushed in and seemed to be on the verge of tripping over his own feet several times. He could be so much better if someone worked with him the basics.

His movement was a lot better after the first few rounds. He really wanted to get that guy outta there since he was headlining BAD, and I like that about him. After he realized this guy wasn't going to blow away in 2 rounds he tried to set up shots better and he can't really stick a jab but he stuck his hand out to measure. Needless to say Paul Williams would wax him, but he is showing improvement after looking terrible in his previous fight. I say give him Angulo, he might get countered to **** but hey he might not. He really needs a real trainer, or maybe he just needs more time

yeah I think a little maybe in the third round or so. but Julio made the same mistake that Cotto did against Margarito by backing up all night. It took away from his power and killed his legs in the later part of the fight
