I don't think so, Hearns was extremely tall and his reach would create too much distance. Hearns was an excellent boxer and he would knock Marquez out.

          Well played.

But really, I think JMM has gotten his proper respect. I mean, P4P number 2? Doesn't get much better then that. (And I think he does own a win over the P4P number 1.)

Those combo's he was landing on Diaz during the mid rounds were just beautiful. Triple uppercuts? Damn........

Slightly overhyped, Old Casamayor should have decsioned him, Diaz beat him up for about 5 rounds, he has no business anywhere near 147. Just because pac moved up to 147, people think he can do the same, it doesnt always work like that, what pac brings is a mix of incredible speed and power, which i dont think marquez has.

However Marquez went to 135 and beat the best two fighters there in his first 2 fights, for that, he deserves big props.

For the record, they didnt all land from what i saw, i think the 1st one landed then the other 2 hit gloves, Jim lampley came in his trousers but dont listen to him because he doesnt have a clue about what actually lands and what doesnt.
