Many fighters have moved on after a loss and solidified a legacy...why cant Cotto?
Cotto is in a win win situation...He fights more recognized threats and Margarito is forgotton. He rematches and people say what they already are saying....Cotto has guts and heart. So YOU need to accept that.
Diaz recently got KOed...he still gets respect he is a warrior and can move on.
Trinidad has losses ans still respect his legacy.
JMM a warrior still gets respect even if Pac dont rematch him...so spare me.

I'm not saying that he can't! Cotto can more than make up for his loss going thru contenders and Belt holders so lets agree on that and drop it. But what i'm trying to stress is that maybe he doesn't feel the same way you do!!!

Maybe just maybe avenging that loss is somthing Cotto wants to prove to himself and to hell with his limp wristed fans who would rather he take a less challanging path to the title.

I don't know man for someone so convinced that Margarito used illegal wraps against Cotto you seem rather reluctant to put your theories to the test.

Cotto needs to avenge his loss to Margarito. As much as you would like to see Marg disappear, he still holds a brutal win over Cotto and one that everyone thinks Cotto should avenge.

And also one who most people think Plasterito cheated and if it wasn't for that, Plasterito would have got the **** beat out.
