Hopkins will destroy Chad Dawson

Which is why i am saying it's pointless Hopkins facing guys like Dawson or Adamek.

He is 44. He should have a farewell bout with RJJ. But that's probably not going to happen since RJJ has been ducking Hopkins for 15 years now.

I personally think the Adamek win was his best win, and what convinces ME that Dawson would be beat Hopkins is the fact that Taylor and Calzaghe didn't win their fights on much skill, they won it by being younger, versatile, and strong enough to not be out muscled by Hopkins and Dawson( unlike Joe and Taylor) is a natural light heavyweight. Styles makes fight and Hopkins style is no where near the style of Johnson who was willing to take punishment to dish his out.

Calzaghe was 36, and your telling us he didn't win the fight with any skill, but just by being younger?

And he also won just by being stronger, even though he's a 168 fighter, it was his first time at LHW and he was considerably lighter in the ring?

As for Taylor, he too is very skilled, and had to be to beat Hopkins twice. I don't follow the Light Heavy weight note on him there seeing as though they're fight was a MW, and Taylor isn't a small MW.

You may not look pretty in the ways you have to beat Hopkins, but that doesn't mean it doesn't require skill.

Chad is a small LHW whom can still get down to 168. So this doesn't seem an entirely powerful reason for a Dawson win.

Size doesn't win fights, skill does. Why is Hopkins weighing 185 favoured to beat Adamek weighing 200 lbs for example?

Very true, Taylor and Calzaghe got decisions over Hopkins, its debatable whether they actually beat him or not. I do think hops gives dawson problems though and wouldnt be surprised if Hopkins won that fight because im not sure how dawsons jab would be effective against hops, hops is also quite difficult to get off against because of the way he moves in and out of range, it leaves fighters not able to get set long enough to get shots off.

There is a something about chad, whereby even when he is dominating, you feel he is still a little vulnerable to getting caught, adamek showed that, and tarver got him with a few nice uppercuts too.

I just got finish watching Dawson vs Tarver and Dawson vs Glen Johnson. Dawson is very flashy in throwing combos but he has no defense. Tarver suck and Glen Johnson really won IMO. He's a good fighter but he's no B-Hop.
