Sorry fellas but it sounds like a hug fest to me.
It was bad enough watching Hopkins holding on to Calzaghe like a brother returning from Iraq but Adamek Vs Hopkins !?

Hopkins would hold on tight like it was his wage packet in front of a mugger.

Two fights I would like Hopkins to take. Adamek and Chad Dawson. Anything else and i'm not interested. Just retire.

I love how everybody is jumping on Hopkins wagon. But people forgets that even tho` style wise Adamek is taylor made for Hopkins, this time Hopkins will be the samller man, he would not be able to use his inside tactics, because hell tire out trying to rough it up with a bigger guy, who fights very well on the inside and the fact that Adamek have 1 punch KO power. I dont care how good is B-Hops chin, if he gets hit flush with 1 right hand, hell get KTFO. People underestimaes Adamek, and theres a reason why he is he lineal Cruiserweight Champ. I do think that B-Hop have the skills to beat anybody, but I think Adamek is too big, strong and active for B-Hop at this stage.

I see this fight 2 ways, either B-Hops keeps it on the outside, and pick Adamek apart with bodyshots in route to a SD, or Adamek simply rough in up and KHTFO in 8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopkins has what it takes to achieve things like this, his determination and skill even at his age surpasses all expectations, atleast mine.

Hopkins shouldn't have any problems at Cruiserweight......Hopkins has trouble with speed and there's no Joe Calzaghe's or Roy Jones's at CW....Adamek is a straight forward fighter who packs a big punch......those are the dudes that Bernard looks his best against......plus he'll have the speed advantage.

He is too old to be moving up divisions, seriously

Bernard looks his best against fighters that has only one weapon to neutralize. Adamek can box( see Adamek vs Briggs 2 for an example) and he has power in both of his hands and uses both of them consistently. He has a fast left jab that he times opponents well with, and he knocked Cunningham down with both a right hand a left hook. Not only that, but he is also bigger than Hopkins which makes this even more dangerous and an adjustment fighter. Fighters like Trinidad, Pavlik and Calzaghe were at least his size or even smaller than he was.

Hopkins looked more like a cruiserweight than a lightheavyweight when he faced Calzaghe.

anybody know what hopkins weighed on fight night vs kelly - iv heard some ppl say that it was up to 185? anyone if thats true?

as for b-hop moving up in weight, b-hop is a tall guy but he doesn't have a big frame and alot of extra muscle wont really help him and increase his power so i can see him adopting the same approach that davdi haye did when he moved from CW to HW.

Haye said that his weight will be what it will be as long as he keeps his speed and makes a decent weigh he will be happy, i see hopkins adopting a similar approach. he will recognise tht he needs to keep his speed and mobility in the ring and the weight comes second to this.

a fight between them would be a genuine pick em - adamek is a clever pressure fighter who can adapt and mix it up, he has a good jab and some good skills. however hes open to that right hand that cunningham and banks landed repeatedly and hopkins has one of the best right hands in the buisness. but hopkins is a smaller guy, adamek has shown that he can adapt and how will hopkins handle a flush punch from the CW.

                    iv got adamek by UD
