rematch with roy at 175 just for old times sake and to get his win over roy

Or the fight at cruiserweight. Really Hops has been coming in at 185-188 for his 175 fights so its not that much of a difference.

Dawson is the new guy but he will get more credit for beating adamek at cruiser than he would for beating dawson at 175, plus hops already had the 175 ring championship from tarver, dawson isnt the official/linear or ring champ is he?

being the legit cruiser champ would do more for his legacy.

tough fight for hopkins, adamek is dropping down into cruiserweight from heavyweight, at least from the aspect of his walking around weight, he couldn't make weight at 175, then moved to cruiser and ends up weighing in at 200 from getting in fighting shape after training. adamek is a solid fighter, with a granite chin, a solid set of skills, he has quality adaptability in the ring, and has a high work rate coupled with good stamina.......

it's a tough fight for hopkins, but one thing for hopkins, is, his style and craft, hopkins is in a league of his own and has the advantage of experience and a multi-faceted style, something to which adamek has never been in the ring with. adamek's style plays into hopkins traps, the forward coming fighter, no angles, and a very readable style, but, to adamek's credit, he has great adaptability, which is one of the most important factors in this fight minus age, size and weight, but all of that is what's obvious, its' the ability of adamek to change gears and figure out a way to win which is the wild card in this fight....

i don't think that there is a favorite in this fight, i think it's a pick'em, and it's a tougher fight for hopkins than it is for adamek. adamek just has to out work hopkins and try and solve a puzzle, a puzzle in hopkins that has been beaten before with nothing only other than high work rate, it's been proven before that you don't have to be effective in your fighting effort to get a decision over him, just throw a lot of punches and the judges will love you!!!!!!!!!!!! as we've seen before in hopkins losses.............. take that away and it's really a tough fight to call, and probably is going to be a tough fight to score too......

no not at all, i could see how it looked that way, i do the same thing sometimes when reading some of these posts, but, hopkins being my all time favorite fighter, i see this fight being tougher than everyone is making it out to be.........

185 or so seems ok, any higher is dangerous.

the only thing that keeps popping into my mind, is, that at that weight, will hopkins have enough power in his punches to get the respect of adamek. adamek has been hit by way bigger guys and way bigger punchers than hopkins and has been able to walk through them, bulking up to 185 to fight a guy that is dropping down to 200, it's going to be tough to get the bigger guy to respect his power and to keep him at bay.....

movement, inside activity, and well timed clinches are going to be huge components for hopkins against the bigger fighter.

hopkin fans trying to hype up adamek, lol....the guy is ****ing trash...anyone who can take his punch or is goosd enough to avoid his shots, beats him........easy pickings for popkins.....

popkins should get retired by bad chad....
