( I think it's funny how this forum is supposed to be about Cotto , however you find a way to drag Margarito in it ) I actually thought Cotto was going to pick Berto. I give mad props to Cotto for, in my opinion picking the harder fighter in the list that was given to him by Arum. Clottey is no pushover and will be one of Cotto's hardest opponents. It's going to be a great fight. This can be a make or break fight for either fighter.

I cant believe idiots here in NSB. Cotto does the right thing to do and picks Clottey over a easuer fight and big Money fight over Berto or Cintron, and people still hate.

If a fighter ducks, people hate, if he fights who he should fight, they still find some****, like ****** ass PULLCOUNTER that says that Clottey now needs a KO to beat Cotto, because the judges wont be unbias and ****.

I don't think it's valid for people to say Margarito used loaded gloves at this point. I believe it is a strong possibility he did but the fact is he didn't get caught & Cotto's uncle said he didn't see anything illegal during the wrapping. I'm sure if Margarito/Capetillo tried to cheat with Mosley they probably did it
to Cotto, BUT we don't know that for sure. Here's my point, I knew Margarito would beat Cotto from when the first time the fight was announced because Margarito's style nullified Cotto's. Cotto is an aggressive puncher who comes forward and Margarito is a bigger guy with a durable chin & comes forward punching non stop.

Once Cotto couldn't hurt or back down Margarito he was clueless on how to beat him because like it or not Cotto's power and being able to back fighters up is a big advantage for him but when he has faced guys he couldn't back down the fight became difficult (Mosley/Margarito). No matter if plaster played a part or not in Cotto's loss, bottom line, Margarito's style of fighting trumped Cotto's. Cotto would have NEVER have had to quit or take that much punishment if he had a smarter game plan going in the ring against Margarito.

I don't think the plaster should be an excuse for Cotto's loss because Clottey fought Marg & didn't get beat like that & Williams beat him....So, if Plaster played a part in Margarito's passed fights then you would have to count them fighters but they clearly fought Margarito better than Cotto did.
