A couple of days ago these guys were in these rooms having a field day stating Cotto would not fight Clottey out of fear...please.

if cotto beats the living dog***** of of clottey, that's cool, but if the fight is close I dont expect the fight to go clottey's way because of homecourt advantage... that is all. also if cotto loses legitimately but clottey doesnt KO him, cotto will get a draw

only reason i said clottey was scared is to add hype to this fight, i dont really believe cotto is scared of clottey... margarito is a different story.... jk but seriously jk not jk

Yea, I pretty much agree with you. But I don't think anyones getting robbed like John did. If Clottey wins as convincingly as John did, I think he'll get the nod. I mean this isn't Puerto Rico, which would be the equivalent of Houston.

But I agree, if it's one of those fights that can go either way, Cotto definitely has the advantage.

anyway..there are so many scenarios that can happen..Clottey Ko, Cotto Ko, Cotto Out boxes, Clottey Pressures, Clottey decision, Cotto desicion ,Body shot win either way, Plaster in gloves.....but you pick the least likely, a close Clottey decision robbing....huh?
As for Margarito..Im so tired of him..its like whatever. Technically Cotto is up now with a belt and Margarito is Down with a bad beating loss and suspension so we all have to wait to see if Margarito even makes it back. Which remains to be seen.

This site would be much better off if you guys would stop hating on boxers based on their nationality. I understand rooting for your fellow countrymen, as I would do the same but don't hate on a boxer or anyone else for that matter based on their nationality,skin color, language or religion. I think we should all respect one another and be mindful of others when we post. With that being said, I don't think Cotto will take this fight. Not because he's scared, as I don't believe any boxer is scared to fight any other boxer but because boxing is a business. You make fights based on how much money you can make and how much money it will help you make in the future. Yeah I know a win against Clottey will catapult Cotto to new heights. Just remember that Cotto is in line for possibly his biggest (in terms of money) fight. All that is needed is a Pacquiao victory in may and a win for Cotto in june, to set up a Cotto VS Pacquiao fight at the end of 09. If I were Cotto's promoter or manager I would try to convince him other wise. If the fight is signed, my hats goes off to Cotto. Too bad boxers don't have that (I want to fight the best? mentality, with the exceptions of a handful of them. After saying all the reasons why the fight might won't come through , I really hope this fight does happen. I see an exciting fight, where Cotto would eat Clotteys rib cage as we all know clottey leaves his abdomen exposed when covering up. At the end, I just don't think Cotto hits hard enough to hurt Clottey, therefore I see a pickem fight slightly favoring Clottey.
