Let's look at the FACTS, Derranged:

    * My boy Danny fought on just months after that fight.

    * Vitali's body broke down and he was unable to fight for FOUR YEARS.

If Nady hadn't called Danny off they'd have been taking Vitali out of there in a pine box.

The one thing Gomez promises, over and over, is a performance unlike the one that Sam Peter put forth against Klitschko last October. [details]
"Why is this fight happening? Gomez has no chance in hell" This is what some of the NBS people would say if Vitali was lets say, Mayweather. But because it's Vitali he could be fighting Tye Fields and all people would say would be "i can't see Tye winning this" but no rants. Anyway Vitali by TKO in predictable fight. I hope he steps up next time as he's not a young man to be wasting time and wearing himself up for tuneups... Just training for a fight and eating right and taking supplements (legal ones) is draining on the body

But isnt what I said correct?

Of course Vitali was ruined. It took 4 years to recover from that nightmare.

Danny Williams is the GOAT, no question about it.

Along with Byrd, he is the most skilled fighter Klitschko will have faced. There's nothing ridiculous about that comment.

A lot of people underrate Gomez, just like they overrate Haye. He's definitely one of the top five heavyweights.

People underestimate his power too - 35 KOs, knocking out people with good chins like Defiagbon and Arias, and knocking down Virchis and Sam.

His chin is fine - he wasn't even knocked down in the fight he lost by TKO.

I don't see anybody with more natural ability in the division than Gomez. It's also worth pointing out to some people, that while Gomez and Byrd have similarities, by no stretch of the imagination are they the same fighters. On top of all that, Gomez is bigger, stronger, and obviously has more power than Bryd.

By all accounts, Gomez seems to be the most determined and skilled opponent either Klitschko has faced in the past few years. I think Vitali could be in for a tough ride with this guy but will ultimately pull out the "W." In any event, this should be an entertaining fight...
