Not only is he the best pure boxer since Pernell Whitaker, he has the best timing in the sport today. Better than Floyd, better than Marquez, better than anyone.

Ivan Calderon is the best pure boxer since a prime Pernell Whitaker.
      Yeah, sure...

He doesn't have the skills Floyd has, like I said, the reason why he doesn't get hit is because he moves around the ring like Cory Spinks, I'm out...you on the other hand, simply, overate him...while I just told you, Calderon is one of the most underated fighters today

LOL! You are too much. If you actually watched the video, you would see that he spent 90% of each rounds standing in front of his man hitting him every time he even thinks of punching.

If moving was all that was required for great defense, Pauli Malignaggi would have the best defense on the planet, unfortunately, moving is not all that is required, and Pauli doesn't have the best defense in the world.

What are Calderon's best attributes that make him the best pure boxer since Sweet Pea?

Near flawless defense. Can fight with you inside, outside, or both at the same time. Flawless timing, if you even think of punching hes already got a punch headed your way. Incredible footwork, creative combinations, perfect use of angles. Look at him. Hes practically a freaking clone of Whitaker.

Ivan Calderon is Pernell Whitaker, with less showboating, and less risk taking.

I don't know, Calderon is perfect at what he does, Mayweather does more.

If Calderon had more power he'd fight more like Mayweather, if Mayweather had less power he'd fight more like Iron Boy.

I haven't seen a Rican fighter so polished in ages, if ever. Even Benitez was more instinctive and less technical than Calderon.

Calderon's style though perceived as precision is actually reckless because he is leaping in to land a quick flurry and this is what caused all of the head clashes.

he's gotta do that sometimes bcoz he is almost always at a disadvantage in reach... and height... & he is quite old now...
