as good as calderon is we've never seen him against what i would call true elite cause the talent in 105 is so shallow so on that consideration alone i would have to go with a more proven mayweather. i would need to see more of calderon but i know mayeather he can fight going forward, back, inside, outside and beats alomst everyone in they're own game ... what i've seen of calderon i dont really know if he has all those wrinkles on that kind of elite level.

and we've seen ivan dropped by journeymen so i say pbf ud/sd or maybe even ko.

I agree, a great fight was Duran vs Hagler, Duran is a very skilled inside fighter

That's one of more irritating myths of modern boxing, unless you're a "boxer" in the classic sense, you haven't got skills and will be beaten by a counterpuncher.

Damn that was a good fight. For a natural lightweight, Duran gave Hagler his toughest fight at 160.

As good as Duran was though, he got outworked by Benitez on the inside. Wilfred was sitting on the ropes looking comfortable as anything, avoiding Duran's shots and still getting his own counters to the body in. Impressive.

Your Floyd hugging is legendary. Don't get me wrong, Floyd is a great fighter, but in a head to head skill contest, he doesn't hold a candle to the boxing abilities of Ivan Calderon.

Ivan Calderon is the best pure boxer since a prime Pernell Whitaker.

That is a bold statement! I'm not going to comment on Calderon yet, because I've only seen a few clips of him, but I've got a few of his fights downloading tonight, so I'll give you a heads up when I watch them tomorrow.
