People who post here (Dynamite Kid, Daggum, egreezy, Flawless, mt102879, DiegoFuego, Devil Man, bsrizpac, etc.) do in fact hate and insult most of those other fighters you mentioned, especially Abraham and Povetkin. However, there does seem to be generally less hatred for white fighters who are American (but they are given little respect).

Maybe if Wlad called his opponents bums like Ali did, or said he was going to eat their children like Tyson, you'd like his personality better?

I prefer Wlad the way he is. He's a better role model than any heavyweight since Marciano.

He doesn't get the publicity to give him a higher profile, but on the Conan O'Brien show he was great.

That's a half-truth. While a 'bad' personality may make some people more intrigued in a person, I don't think it distorts people's view of their abilities. I think that's an excuse people with an agenda make. Some people can't seem to judge a person solely on their qualities, without letting their emotions take over. The earlier version of Tyson didn't appear to have a 'bad' side, he just appeared 'bad', with his explosive, destructive style, and that is what made him famous.

It's the same with Ike Ibeabuchi: some people find it hard to accept he was a great prospect because of what he did outside the ring. But he had so many good qualities it seems rather ridiculous to write him off as a complete hype job. Certainly, it's not ridiculous to say he may not have beaten Lewis. But to say he was only as good as Peter is so laughable it's obvious who is too emotionally attached to give a fair judgement.

What someone does in the ring can be enough to draw attention to them from the general public. If it's not enough, then obviously a fairly dull personality is not going to help.

I've definitely noticed some of them, I think most of them are like 20 yrs old and I can tell whether its even worth talking to them. However, I was a little surprised to see your emails. Besides, most haters like that can't fight themselves.

People bash the heavyweight division because they're unhappy because the best heavyweights (Wlad, Vitali, Povetkin, etc.) are white men.
If you can't stand the idea of a European heavyweight champion, you can live in the past and watch old fights of Ali, Tyson and Holmes.

Almost every post in that thread defended Marciano and his record; the OP just showed himself up as being ignorant about boxing (but no worse than the anti-Mayweather or Pac or JMM posts one sees on this site all the time, and none of those fighters are white; and there was nothing racist about his post any more than the hate posts about Mayweather are racist); and the tiny number of genuine hate posts in that thread said nothing about him being white, just that he was too small. And whether a 185lb heavyweight could beat modern athletic giants like Vitali and Lewis is not a totally ****** question and you certainly don't have to be racist in order to ask that question.

You're just showing yourself up as being totally paranoid.
