Margarito's loss to Williams was extremely close. Cotto quit against Margarito.

Which one is worse.

And Margarito was beaten into submission by Mosely. Margarito's own corner didn't believe he should have continued after the first knockdown. Margarito just had to much pride to accept an inevetable loss. Which was worse? Since I noticed you conveniently left out the Mosely beat down.

If we could only turn speculation into fact.
My statement clearly states that Cotto can make money and Margarito can but not as much as Cotto.
Let them do their thing damn...and see where it takes them....we cant assume that Mosley is gonna drop all his prospects for a rematch when there is plenty more money to be made elsewhere..same goes for Cotto.
Cotto vs. Berto , Clottey, Mosley, Hatton, Pac,Willaims Big bucks and very possible.
Margarito vs....Tell me which one of them will drop a payday to put Margarito up front?
Maybe Berto...Maybe...they all have bigger things lined up ...for next fight and the one after.

I'm just saying that the way you worded your statement, it sounded like you were insinuating that Cotto was the only way to Margarito's payday. You stated " make Margarito pay ". Just remember Arum pretty much calls the shots. If you weren't insinuating that, then I may have misunderstood you. Just remember, Cotto still has something to prove in the division. Not everyone is calling Cotto's name. The names that are mostly being thrown around are MAYWEATHER AND PACQUIAO.

To end this whole ducking matter: Cotto didn't duck Margarito. Cotto fought him, lost, and accepted it. He stated that Margarito was the better man that night. Looking at it inversely why didn't Margarito fight P. Will in a rematch? Is he ducking P. Will, or is he just over the fact that he lost, possibly the way that Cotto viewed his loss? People have to stop reading so much into an immediate rematch right now. Margarito can come back and beat other WWs and eventually land a Cotto rematch when it might mean more, like a unification bout or something.

Cotto's name is thrown around enough though. Berto, Clottey, and Cintron were all immediatly calling for a match when the Margarito match was dropped. Pacman himself has also shown interest in a possible Cotto bout, as has Mosely in the future. Cotto's not the only name but definetly one of the biggest. Cotto against against any of these names will be a big draw.
