My opinion is Margarito should fight the other "top six" if he can....which remains to be seen, whatever your opinion is.
    Good luck with that.

    Are you kidding.

Cotto is good and needs nothing from Margarito...lets see how well Margarito does without Cotto rematch.
What are you insuiating in your last statement. That Margarito can't do nothing or get payed without Cotto????? Let me name the top five welterweights at the moment. And they are in no particular order. Andre Berto, Miguel Cotto, Shane Mosley, Joshua Clottey and Antonio Margarito. Margarito has fought everyone on this list ( Even Williams who would be on the list, however has gone up in weight ) except Berto. Margarito could fight Mosley for a rematch and make mad lute. Pack the Staples Center again and break records.

The majority of people on this forum, and people "jump" on the wrap situation, because it is very serious - that's a good enough reason.

From what I have seen. Most of the people that supported Marg before the Mosley fight still support him today. Very few actually hate the guy.

I don't think it's right to hate him necessarily.

To end this whole ducking matter: Cotto didn't duck Margarito. Cotto fought him, lost, and accepted it. He stated that Margarito was the better man that night. Looking at it inversely why didn't Margarito fight P. Will in a rematch? Is he ducking P. Will, or is he just over the fact that he lost, possibly the way that Cotto viewed his loss? People have to stop reading so much into an immediate rematch right now. Margarito can come back and beat other WWs and eventually land a Cotto rematch when it might mean more, like a unification bout or something.

Margarito's loss to Williams was extremely close. Cotto quit against Margarito.

                Which one is worse.

If we could only turn speculation into fact.
My statement clearly states that Cotto can make money and Margarito can but not as much as Cotto.
Let them do their thing damn...and see where it takes them....we cant assume that Mosley is gonna drop all his prospects for a rematch when there is plenty more money to be made elsewhere..same goes for Cotto.
Cotto vs. Berto , Clottey, Mosley, Hatton, Pac,Willaims Big bucks and very possible.
Margarito vs....Tell me which one of them will drop a payday to put Margarito up front?
Maybe Berto...Maybe...they all have bigger things lined up ...for next fight and the one after.
                  My opinion....

Well said. Anything can happen within a year. Cotto could lose his next fight, Margarito could lose his next fight. We won't know and only time will tell.
