Can't use either excuse. They all said that Cotto/Jennings was crap since boxers don't need a tune-up after a layoff, and Cotto had already cracked Margarito's chin, Mosely just finished off the job. Margarito took WAY too many cumulative clean shots in those two fights, Margarito will not be the same boxer he once was.

Cotto / Jennings was a crappy fight ( And I was very pissed because I had to buy that crap because half of my familia is Puerto Rican/ Top Rank thieves
) however I do agree that Cotto needed a tune up. Nothing wrong with that Margarito had a tune up after the Williams lost. I differ from your opinion about Margarito. He's still got some juice left. He needs to lay low and rest for the year. Then take a tune up and reesstablish himself.

So Cotto will not fight Margarito until he has a license. Cotto is not afraid of Margarito, not now, not ever. Give Cotto some credit as he could have taken other matches and left Margarito out of the mix as many boxers have been doing for the last several years. Cotto has stated he wants a rematch, and should Margarito get licensed again I'm sure we'll see it in 2010.

Cotto WILL beat Margarito next time. Margarito will no longer have his plaster in his gloves. It kills me how people can be so ignorant and not see that he DID use the plaster Vs Cotto. 1) look at Cotto's face after the fight, 2) why would you use it Vs SSM who was the underdog and not Cotto who was the favorite to win big, but the most important of all reason is what his trainer said after he was interview after getting caught 3) "we always wrapp his hands the same way for all his fights, I didnt know that was illegal". Theres an old saying that goes like this "If you got caught doing something wrong there's a BIG chance you have done it before "
