yes he does have wins over many elite fighters but all those elite fighters were able to win rounds against shane even mayorga who is not an elite fighter won rounds and looked good the 1st half of the fight where as margarito got beat down and didn't win a single round in the process, that just shows that margarito is not on shane's level nor is he an elite fighter

Hey!! I was just posting on another forum bro, lol. I respect your opinion. The first thought I had after Mosley KO'd him was that Cotto should fight him and get revenge. But after giving it a little thought I started to think that maybe he should serve his punishment. Because to a lot of fans I think he lost every ounce of respect he had prior to the fight. And at this point I do not even think he deserves to fight anybody for a year, much less cotto. He should wait his year, then come back to maybe someone like Berto, then get a rematch with Cotto.

This can easily be resolved. If cotto was confident he would fight him anywhere and eliminate any doubt. But instead he complains about Marg being allowed to fight in Mexico.

he never complained about that. he complained about arum supporting him so enthusiastically even though he got banned in the US. he also said that marg shouldn't fight anywhere for a year, something that EVERY SINGLE BOXING ANALYST has said.

if he fights in mexico this year, he will likely have to stay there
