Cotto needs to go to Mexico "NOW" and remove all doubts. At the same time, just before the fight, they should televise the handling and wrapping of the hands so that there is no doubt. Also, after the fight, they should let Evangelista Cotto kick Capetillo's ass at the main event!!!

On one hand I see where Marg is coming from. You got Cotto talking and possily effecting your money. Its almost like hating. But then again I see Cotto too. He feels Marg beat him with plaster in his wraps, and he is pissed about that. The only solution is a rematch, w/thourough hand-wrap checking. I'd love to see it. I wouldn't really be cheering for either. May the best man win.

WHy is everyone saying TOny is done? It is clear that the suspension he has gotten is very mild and he can actually go around it and still fight. He's still a name and the #1 WW still wants a piece of him. He aint done folks, you'll be seeing more Tony for the next few years ha ha.

Margarito is the one who needs to STFU, Cotto has been very classy about the situation and he have only stated what everybody else had said, that he should not fight in Mexico.

He said that he would have gone to PR to fight, ofcourse hell go anywere, because he doesnt have another choice, he ****ed up and he cant demand **** from now on.

The MOfo have the nerves to say that he havent done anything ilegall, and that Cotto is jealous. WTF? Jelous of what?

Antonio Margarito is very upset with some of Miguel Cotto's comments over the last few weeks. On February 10, Margarito and his trainer Javiar Capetillo had their licenses revoked by the California State Athletic Commission over a foreign substance that was discovered in Margarito's handwraps before the Jan. 24 bout with Shane Mosley. I wanted to comment more on some stuff that has been written, but there's way too many comments on this thread already. Damn, at this rate there's gonna be like 100 pages or more at the end of this thread. As for Margarito's comments, I like the tenacity and hunger he still has in him. I know Cotto fans and even boxing fans are pissed about his comments. That's fair game. As a Margarito fan you love to hear stuff like this. It means the Tornado is still there and is pissed about not just Cotto, but about everyone else who has tried to tarnish his name ( Yes I think he's taking it all out on Cotto ) You can't blame him. That's just the fight still in him. As for Cotto's comments, I do applaud Cotto for being classy during this whole situation. However, in his most recent comments, he kind of hinted toward agreeing that there was foul play against him when he fought Margarito. Cotto stated " you saw how swollen my face was ". Yes, Cotto wants to say Margarito cheated, but hasn't came out and said it. Maybe he will say it now.

I think Margarito is blowing everything out of proportion, but I still like the fire he still possesses. Until then, Viva Team Margarito!!!!
