Jesus Christ, when will Guzman stop being punished for fucking up once?
Everybody makes mistakes in their lives, I know I have, and they were a lot worse than failing to make weight for a fight.
Nobody on here punished Corrales and Castillo this bad when they failed to make weight. And Nate himself did the exact same thing in his very next fight with Funeka.
Whatever. Guzman will continue to work his way back up the ladder and when he gets his shot at somebody with a name, or somebody with a belt, he's going to serve notice to every damn critic on here.Comment

Eitherway Guzman needs to get in the mix somehow. Gettin out of that Campbell fight really ****ed him up though. But havin him in the stacked lightweight division would make even more fights possible.Contrary to reports of a Joan Guzman (29-0, 17KOs) vs. Yuri Romanov (21-2, 14KOs) title bout taking place on May 1 in Las Vegas, BoxingScene.com has been informed that the IBF plans to bypass Guzman due to his administrative suspension in Mississippi. The amount of hate for him around here really is absurd.
He fucked up, big time. That's not even debatable.
But he's been absorbing a wrath of hatred around here for the last year that few fighters who fail to make weight have ever been subject to : Corrales wasn't this hated when he failed to make weight, Castillo wasn't this hated when he failed to make weight, neither was Campbell.
He's enduring the type of hatred that's typically reserved for someone like Margarito : Who had the intent to commit one of the most de****able acts that you can commit in this sport.Comment
Poor Guzman.. but serves this a lesson to every boxers!
