If I were Hopkins I'd offer RJJ a match for 60/40 take it or leave it.

Just to rubb it in his face. What ass whoopin' Roy????

Hopkins has already surpassed you as the all around better fighter, competing with you in your prime, losing a decision without any embarassment like other fighters and now he has beaten guy you have lost to.

    Tarver > Hopkins dominated him

Johnson > Hopkins knocked him out

Trinidad > Hopkins dominated him in his prime while unbeaten and RJJ couldn't knock him out coming out of retirement out of shape.

Calzaghe > Did much better then RJJ, to the point of almost winning.

Hopkins >>>>>>> Roy Jones, I don't care how many trinkets he won in his career.

roy yones is a pathetic figure....he always has to exaggerate to himself to make him feel better....like when he blamed the tarver loss on his dad or the calzaghe loss on his cutman....you know hes looking to rematch clinton woods in ibf title eliminator after omar shika......

All of those brutal knockout losses are starting to effect Roy's brain. The man has been avoiding Hopkins for years. If they were to fight now Hopkins would brutally knock him out. I wouldn't expect Hopkins to box like he usually does, he would want to hurt Roy.

Hopkins is the man, but if he fought roy at any point before roy went up to HW he would have lost again, and it would not be close.

And Hopkins will never surpass roy... resumes are oovveerraatteedd

hopkins would kill him in a rematch now, and besides, hopkins said that he wouldn't fight roy after roys loss to calzaghe, hopkins said it wouldn't be a fair fight because jones is too far past his prime, he said that he doesn't want the fight because it would be too easy, and i fully agree, there is nothing in it for hopkins other than avenging his loss, but i'm sure he would want to avenge it with a fight inside of a uncompetitive sparring match........

hopkins would stop jones before the 9th round if they were to fight now..........

Looks like he has his sights set on Dawson, the IBF has supposedly agreed for Jones-Woods 2 to be an eliminator to fight Dawson, the fight is supposedly going to happen in the UK.

No ****? Jeez. And Calzaghe gets hated on at age 36 for fighting a 39 year-old and Bernard at age 43, plus accused of ducking Johnson and Dawson; a 26 year-old who arguably lost to a 40 year-old Glen Johnson, called out old man Calzaghe, then whipped 40 year-old Tarver, will do the same again soon, then get a fight with the now 40 year-old Jones!

Yet it's Calzaghe who's beating up old guys!!?

Boxing... and it's fans... make me ****ing laugh!

Is the bolded text supposed to be the justification for Bernard having surpassed Roy as a better fighter?

Jones is still a big name and him fighting Jones will inevitably make people compare his performance against Calzaghe's, if he's more impressive in beating Jones it could make more people call for Dawson-Calzaghe but it's no guarantee Jones beats Woods anyways, Woods' pressure could be too much for him now, if Woods shows up to fight that is.
