i wouldn't be surprised if mab wins.

it'd be nice for him to get a 135 trinket. something erik couldn't.

maybe jmm will use him as a tuneup while waiting for jmm-pac 3.

    another nice payday for marco.

Maybe so, but Khan's chin is crappy, that's why some people aren't giving him much of a chance. It's a shame really, cause if he did have a good chin he'd be a really good all-round fighter.

What I'm saying is yet again people are exaggerating just how past it he is.

He hasn't forgotten all of his ring intelligence, lost all his chin, combinations and tactics all of a sudden. He is capable of beating a an un accomplished, in experienced guy whom gets knocked down by jabs.

I think he is more than moderately passed it. He hasnt looked good recently at all.

The records of the last two guys he fought:
            25-19-0
            1-7-1

Those guys are terrible. 1-7? that guy had no business being in the ring with Barrera. Kahn is no ATG but Kahn is miles ahead of Barrera's recent competition. Also while credit is due in his rematch with Pacman, Pacman didnt seem in the fight and didnt really press it, it wasnt Pacman's best performance at all. But that was a year and a half ago. Barrera has slipped a lot. In the trend of all the upsets, I will pick Kahn to give a beat down, Barrera has ring smarts but if his body cant perform the way his mind wants it to and he gets caught by Kahn's speed and power then he will be in trouble.

Considering Barrera looked slow and crappy against those cab drivers, I expect him to struggle with Kahn. In the same way DLH didnt look that great with Steve Forbes, I should have been able to realize he would have problems with Pac but didnt see it. So this time, I am picking the upset.

The 1-7 guy was a replacement, wasn't he? And it's obvious MAB was just trying to get some rounds under his belt with Ventura. Can't judge him on those fights.

In Barrera's last two fights against crash dummies he has looked terrible. Barrera has most deffinately slipped.

As a poster whom I respect, and guy whom had a Prescott sig for awhile, I'm most intrigued as to your take on this.

Who you got and why, and is MAB as past it as a lot seem to think?

When news of this fight first came out a lot gave MAB a good chance, thought it was still a risky step up of class too soon for Khan. I'm surprised at how opinion has altered even the past month or so where neither has done much.

So you don't think he was just trying to get some rounds under his belt after a lay-off and that he couldn't have had Ventura out of there at any point, including the first round?
