I don't think I saw him land a punch on Holyfield, atleast during the first half of the fight. Holyfield, as terrible as he is nowadays especially compared to what he used to be, was throwing and landing a couple of punches here and there.
Why would you give out red karma for this post Tunney?

Regardless of the closeness. Holyfield won. He did more than valuev. He won, but they gave it to valuev. He got robbed. he prob outlanded valuev 5-1 in that fight.

        The fight was close.

too many "fans" dont "watch" the fight they view it and call the commentary gospal.

I cant remember for sure but didnt the crown boo when the decision was given? It's nit like it was in America, I would have assumed Valeuv would have had "home" support

The crowd didn't boo the decision, although they always boo Valuev a little in Europe. The fight was in Switzerland not in Germany.

The commentators Bernstein and Charles were calling the fight while sitting in a studio in the US - they were not even in Europe, yet their commentary stirred up much of the controversy.

What was really funny about this is that Bernstein and Charles were watching and calling the fight from a studio with a TV creen in the US! Bernstein kept scoring all the close rounds for Holyfield, and not only did Charles follow his lead, most observers in the US did the same...

In reality it was a very close fight that could have gone either way, and was far from a robbery.
It was close, only because Valuev is a white man
