yeah floyd would beat hagler , leonard and hearns.......
I think the Floyd fanboys just boxrec Duran's name and ignore the fact he was a natural lightweight. I doubt many of them have seen any of his fights.

how old was duran when he jumped from 135 to 147?

i think he was older than floyd when he fought sugar than when floyd retired.

I think he was 27 when he stepped up, but he'd had loads of fights by then

Floyd was good but not great. he left the boxing scene at a time when the junior welter to welter weight divison was at the top of the boxing world. why would you retire when there are so many top fighters to fight in the division? i guess it makes it tough to cherry pick.

Just reading your post, had to stop half way through, cos you said about the "fight of the year" and im thinking you must be talkin about the rings fight of the year, in which case, mike tyson has only been in 1 fight of the year and thats when he got beat up and stopped by Evander, the ring also made tyson fighter of the year in 86 and 88, the same people who made mayweather fighter of the year in 98 and then 07.... but back to your real point, is floyd a great fighter, id say yes he is, did he fight EVERY SINGLE fighter he could have no he didnt, did he usually fight bigger guys and make them look silly yes he did.... IS HE BORING... Only if you dont no what your watching

Tua, you used to be somewhat one of my favourite posters on here. Even though you are not a fan of Floyd i respected your reasons as they were quite justified.

However in the last few weeks, man some of you posts have gone from bad to worse.

                      my posts are moody.

my posts go from joking to bitter depending on the threads i'm on or arguments i get into.
