Why can't mexican fighters just get along?

The thing is Americans are just as ****** and do the exact same things to each other over and over again that Morales and Marquez did to the Mexican American fighters and fans. Americans are always questioning each others patriotism and heritage so why be hypocritical about things?

I dont question anyones patriotism or any of that , no one was talking about that. This issue is about two groups of people that are the same but because they are born on different sides of teh border , a rivalry and petty jealousies are made. I was born in the states and am proud and will never turn my back on my people , whether they were born here in the states or in mexico. To me, there is no difference between a mexican from mexico and a mexican from the states, we are all the same. Now, some folks will say we are diffrent and not associate with or talk **** about those who cant speak english or are here illegally, but at the same time those from Mexico and I have heard plenty of them talk **** about US born mexicans who speak english and believe that they are ashamed of their blood. To me its all absurd, for the moment someone comes to the states and has a kid here, they will become american, so in essence alot of folks are talking **** about their own kids..............thats how senseless all this is.

I think you are missing my point! I agree with you that what Marquez said was ****** but it's also wrong to single out Mexicans when Americans are just as guilty.

I'm a Mexican American and I'm happy to be one but other American's(White,black, or whatever) will never consider me anything more than a border jumping immigrant even though I'm a Second generation american.

Say it with me now, it's called "Machismo" and it's alive and well in all Latin communities. We are pre-programmed that way. Plus the fact that you can't put too many Mexicans in the same room without some **** starting applies to weightclasses also. Like they said before, there can only be one #1.
