Manny won the rematch by ONE point and practically lost every round after the opening stanza in the first fight. Manny's power saved him in both fights. In terms of skill, Juan Manuel Marquez is better than Manny and he proved it in both fights. If he would have only been able to stay on his feet, he would have won them BOTH.

Exactly, Calzaghe was knocked down then proceeded to outwork Bhop.

Why did Calzaghe get the decision and Marquez didn't?

I'll tell you why. Manny is the more popular fighter while Marquez is older and less marketable.

Yea, and it sucks cause they were all pretty legit knockdowns. The one in the 2nd fight really had Marquez pretty ****ed up.

I still think Marquez won both fights even with the KD's, but it still goes to show you how amazing Marquez is.

            LOL.

SO YOU ARE saying if it werent for the punches the other guy landed...Marquez would have won.

            Nice.

If it werent for all the points the other teams scored on Dallas, they would have gone to the super bowl.

If it werent for the other cars driving faster than mine...I Would have won my race.

If it werent for all the runs from the other teams, Boston would have won the world series.

He did lose both fights. There is a differenec between winning the fight and the decision the judges pull out of their asses, as we all know......
