I thought after Pac beat MAB the 1st time he was gonna be the man in a few yrs, but maybe not as big as he's gotten. JMM was always a good fighter, but I didn't think he'd get the fights he would need to really elevate him to the status he deserved, especially after he **** on the Pac rematch to go lose the John fight. The fact that he's havin his best success and most excitin fights at the end of his career is ****in solid. Dude is great. Both guys make me proud to be a fan of the sport.

Me too, I was ery excited after the Barrera fight. The sheer energy was hiding Pac's weaknesses, but what was your reaction to the Pac-JMM 1? He looked so bad, I won't hide that part of me thought "hype". And now, he got sooooooo much better and well rounded.

jmm isn't as qood with his reflexes but i think he has gotten stronger going up on weight..I don't really see that many new weapons from manny...His skills are very overated, but i think what makes him what he is, is his great explosiveness. He has gotten even more explosive

Are you kidding me? you don't see anything new since 2004? what about the right hand? what about movement in different directions than forward?

And the lead left hand , similar to Bhop's lead right hand......... that Pac can also follow up with quick right hook.
Before it was only the predictable jab jab and the straight left.

JMM of today is more exciting than the one who draw with pac in 2004. the trilogy would be very exciting coz JMM likes to mixed it up nowadays.. PAC-JMMIII would be very explosive.

Pacquiao was a one-armed wreckless brawler, and Marquez was a pretty good counterpuncher with a terrible defense.

Pacquiao is now a terrific boxer puncher, who hasn't gotten hit much since he fought Marquez in the rematch, and that is always bound to happen, because he was facing the P4P #2, best offensive fighter in the game. Marquez is now the best counterpuncher in the game, who finds all the angles. His defense is still a bit leaky, but he is able to make terrific adjustments to account for it.

I just would have never expected these two guys to make the insane strides that they have made recently to become the best two fighters in the sport.
I was having this thought while sitting at the bowl this morning. Who would have thought?

I thought the juan manuel we saw against juarez has lost a step or two such that he would easily be beaten by manny. I thought wrong, marquez is getting better as he ages. I hope manny fights him before the year ends.

Actually, Pac knew back then. Ask his fans. Pac can predict the future. It's one of his many skills. In fact, in 2010 Pac will KO B-Hop and take the Cruiserweight belt. It's old news in Manila.
