If he does come back, he will not be as good as he used to be, although he might think he can still be as good but his heart won't be fully committed.
Although the haters say otherwise, Mayweather was respected for being fearless at the lower weights, calling out several names even Junior Middleweights while at 130

As he's moved up, Money has occupied him to the point where he doesn't give a **** about the sport, the longer he fights, the more vulnerable he becomes until he no longer has that invinciblilty type aura

Saying that, i think Roach would rather have Manny not near Floyd, Roach knows Manny's weaknesses which a certain bigger stronger, defensive, smart counterpuncher could capitalise on

I agree with you 100%...Floyd doesn't have much time left to be on top; but make no mistake that he still is on top right now, even in retirement. Roach knows at the end of the day Pacman will lose to Floyd.

Interesting -- a Pisces replying to a Pisces about a Pisces. People may laugh if they don't believe in astrology, but I know his type all too well.

I don't believe Mayweather fought primarily for money. Sure, he will get as much as he can out of it and he loves being rich, but the reason he started out in boxing is because he loved it. First and foremost, he wanted to prove to himself that he could be better than anyone currently in the game, he believes in his skills, and he knows that, on his best day, he's untouchable. Or was untouchable.

Stay retired. That is the best thing Floyd could do. If he comes back he is likely to lose because the necessary commitment isn't there any longer. However, even though I'm a major Pacquiao fan, I also think Floyd beats him.

I remember the first fight between mayweather and jose luis castillo.....Castillo won that fight very clearly but,he got robbed big time. That's why i think that if mayweather fights marquez at 140 marquez has a big chance of winning.

I think calling PBF a boring fighter might just get him back to fight. I think it was the same ploy Hatton used to get him to fight. After Hatton beat Castillo, he called PBF a boring fighter and next thing you know the rest was history. If you watch 24/7, PBF said it was the reasong why he fought Hatton, because of Hattons remark after the Castillo fight.

I agree, he was obviously raised to box ( being a Mayweather ) and had a fire when he started but he is just a money whore at the moment, he's not fighting to prove who the best is ( as he said himself ) and he does seem happily retired with health, money and an undefeated record

Chances are that he will never fight again, but when you retire undefeated in the most stacked weight division in boxing theirs bound to be requests for him to fight, it doesn't help that every fighter from 135 - 147 wants to fight him ( or so it seems )

And your right about the pisces thing, if i remember correctly our birthdays are on the same day, one shy of Floyd's

                  Agree with your post.

Maybe Floyd should be a trainer. He'd be a great one.

Gotta swim against the tide on this one (pun intended, Tyde13!) I am not convinced this is a ploy to get Floyd out of retirement.
