Granted JMM knocked Diaz out, but up until that point the fight was closer than Campbell's fight was with Diaz. In rating thier performances against the Baby Bull, who's was better?

Marquez just because he adapted so beautifully. Campbell wore him down and cut him up. Good performance, but Marquez had a near great one.

Yeah. I think you could argue because he got hit a lot in the first 2 rounds. Changing it, it was great, but not flawless.

People act as if Campbell was sonning Diaz from the first bell. Campbell/Diaz wasnt as close as Marquez/Diaz up until the 6th round, yes, but Marquez actually pulled out the KO victory by adapting to what was infront of him. I say thats more impressive, though, both wins were great.

Yes it was. Marquez continues to impress at 35 years old. Moves up to Lightweight and takes out the top two in the division by KO. And to think he was once known as a not very aggressive counterpuncher.

I think the Diaz who showed up for the Marquez fight is better than the Diaz who fought Campbell

I also love Marquez's performance as it's a textbook example of "putting money in the banK" with hard, accurate body punching

                    Marquez by far....

Soupy is a horrible boxer, couldn't knock Diaz out and still only got a split decision. It was an insult to Diaz to have this guy share the same ring with him.

Marquez is going to the HOF....Soupy is not. Marquez knocked out Casamayor....Soupy couldn't even beat him.
