    damn these trainers...

relax... relax... just let these fighters do their thing...
I know Trainers sometime talk trash and run their mouths but we all know that Oscar De La Hoya wasn't himself on fight night with Manny & didn't bring his A game. Because if Oscar was even next to the Oscar that fought at 154 he would
have definitely been more competitive and that's the Oscar we thought was coming to fight. Ricky Hatton is a prime, game fighter with power & speed.
I am relaxed and just basically voicing my pinions on the fight that's coming up.

Hatton and Pacquiao are the same age so the past prime washed up excuse should not apply to hatton. Pacquiao has also had a longer career and has been in more wars than Hatton so there really should be no excuses. I say let's just get this over with so we can get down to the real business of Pacquiao vs Marquez 3.

David Diaz may have felt the same but that didn't matter to the Pacman. JAT

Trainers talk all kinds of **** anyway. It doesn't matter. All that matters is Manny and Ricky in the ring on May 2nd.

Yeah. "Oscar gonna beat the dog**** out of Pacquiao man, trust me."

Who cares. Just let them fight.

All Ricky Hatton has to do is not back down & the fight becomes a brawl & Manny gets hit Flush & Hatton has one punch KNOCK DOWN or KO power Manny doesn't.
How do you explain the 3 knockdowns of Marquez in the first round of the Pac-Marquez fight if Manny doesn't have knock down or knockout power? Or the fact that Diaz ended up flat on his face, knocked out? Dude, you are seriously underestimating Pac here.

I always give props where they are do even if I'm not a big fan of certain fighters. I give Pacquiao his props every time I posts, I just don't believe that this will be an easy fight like every one thinks & that's why I'm always defending Hatton. This fight can go either way in my view but will see come fight time.

If Hatton doesn't come with his A game then Manny will be able to walk all over him without a doubt but Hatton is stronger & more aggressive than Marquez & tougher than David Diaz in my opinion. Especially at 140, there is really No comparison because clearly Manny will have a tougher challenge in Hatton than them two.

I think so as well. Pacman's fights against Diaz and Oscar were impressive in the way he beat them, but they really didn't put up much of a fight (or is it that Pacman is just that good?). As Kellerman said the other night, Pacman (while he has continued to win, and win impressively), his fights at lightweight and welterweight were against guys who weren't considered top tier material in that weight division, while JMM's beaten THE top 2 guys at lightweight, effectively knocking them out.

It's not Pacquiao's fault that Oscar did so poorly, though. I'm not discrediting him or saying that he's a bad fighter, it's just that people talkin' about how he's gonna' roll over Hatton, and...while I believe he can win (because he's quick, good power, southpaw stance), he's gonna' be in there with...not some average guy, not a contender, not a champion, no...THE champion. The rough, physical, imposing Ricky Hatton. Pacquiao can win, and I'd bet on Pacquiao...but sometimes I wonder and hesitate, because you know that if Hatton lands one of his big left hooks, you know Pacquiao's gonna' get seriously rocked.

You can't count Hatton out completely. I think he's a very live underdog. I don't know if anyone here agrees with me, but that's just the way I see it. This is Pacquiao's most daunting match since his second fight with Juan Manuel Marquez...wouldn't be surprised (although shocked at the reality of it) if Hatton were to get the best of Pacquiao.......and then I'd be pissed because of the possibility of a Mayweather/JMM dream fight goes up in smoke.
