I just ask my co-worker who has HBO and is a casual fan who Judah was and she said "a boxer" and I asked her who Soupy was and she didn't have a clue.

Soupy is old and bring nothing to the table....everyone at 140 is under 30....Soupy struggled with a 31 year old...he's not running nothing at 140. Who can get excited about a Soupy fight, I can count how many times he has been on a preminum cable network (HBO & Showtime) on 1 hand. He has 5 losses and zero value at the negotiation table, he bankrupt and long in the tooth.

Judah is a loser himself but at least he's a NAME...and I'd rather fight a gatekeeper with a name (Judah) than a gatekeeper with no name (Soupy).

Case in point, Soupy beat Diaz and yet Diaz career continues to prosper on TV while Soupy is filing for bankruptcy....he's nothing and HBO exec realized this.

Ortiz, Peterson, Holt, Bradley, Alexander, Malingnigi, Artonitis, Urango, Alvarado....those boys are under 30 and will expose Soupy and I don't even want to bring up Manny and Ricky.....those two boys will murk Soupy in that ring, set his body on fire and bury his remains at sea.
What's really interesting is how you choose to compare Campbell's career with Diaz. The same Diaz that Nate beat up pretty good, while taking his "0". Since losing to Campbell, Diaz is 1-1 while being knocked out in one of those outtings. Although he fought bravely, and gave it his all. Being knocked out is never a sign of prosperity in boxing. Not to mention he was fighting for the same titles that Campbell TOOK from him. You call this prosperity, all while ignoring the effort that Campbell displayed while taking Funeka's "0". Just because you have not heard of a fighter, in no way makes them a nobody (Funeka). It's quite possible that if Juan Guzman had stepped in the ring with Nate, his "0" would also be gone. Three undefeated fighters shut down is the way to ensure HBO invites you back.

Nate will not fight Urango because he is tight with Randal Bailey, Bailey is inline for a title shot with Urango and Nate does not want to cost Bailey that shot.

I appreciate your outlook, but to be factually accurate Funeka was not undefeated. He lost a decision 6 or 7 years ago to Fana, after flooring Fana in the 1st round. Nate took Kid Diamond's "0" on HBO PPV as the co-feature to Jones-Tarver 3, and then took Diaz "0" on HBO, and probably was going to take Guzman's "0" on Showtime. Followed up by twice flooring the "once beaten" 6 foot 1 Funeka on HBO. Not a bad run.

I'd like to see Campbell fight the winner of Bradley-Holt. Any interest in them? Fight Devon Alexander, who is the mandatory. That way you guys get the mandatory spot. Good fight.

At this point the answer is no. However, if DKP came with a better deal than anyone else that included a no-fault buyout, I certainly would present it to Nate.

Nate and I will be in Montreal for Holt-Bradley, just to observe. My problem with Alexander is that Nate will ruin him. Devon is a good kid, with a good chance to develop into a solid fighter. Putting him in with someone like Nate right now is a terrible idea. But if it turns out that thats all we can get right now, then so be it.
