What do you think of replacing Max Kellerman on HBO with John Skully?

I like Max a lot. You dont always have to agree with the guy's opinion. And I'm a Merchant fanboy. The only one I cant stand is Lennox. He offers some comedic value I admit, but I dont smoke weed anymore and rarely watch fights drunk, so it's now annoying.

As would I LOL...I will tell u something, true story...when I was at the ESPN studios I heard from someone -not sure if it's true- that Teddy made more than half a million a year at ESPN...to that I told one of the producers there that if the job came up I would sign a contract for 100 K a year for life!!! They could save hundreds of thousands by hiring me...that would be a job I would do for free if I had to...traveling all over, per diem, going to tall the fights, being on TV, talking about the fights from ringside...man, thats a DREAM job for as guy like me...

A dream job is the only way to put it. On top of the things you mentioned, you get to be apart of something forever. Like Al Bernstien can always say he called Castillo/Corrales.

can we just replace kellerman with anyone! I would prefer a member of this board or a random guy off the street to do the commentary on the fight as opposed to him. Or better yet how about an air headed model with nice juicy A** and ******* poking out in scantily clad outfits so that at least we could have something to look at.. She can be an airhead because it would not be any more annoying than Max is.

It's spelled Scully. And he doesnt have the "pizazz" that HBO wants. Also, he knows alot about the sport, and doesnt make crazy accusations and comparisons that make no sense. i.e. Williams comparison.
