Unless a boxer is American (or based in America) it takes a lot for the yanks to give them credit. Get ready for the 1000s of threads saying Hatton cheated or that it was unfair if Hatton wins.

When americans (ther're usually the haters) put forward their reason for hating hatton they go look look he lost to pbf and beat mailinaggi he jsut isnt good enough. what has this got to do with hating somone.
1. Hes one of the best fighters outthere ffs.
2. He seems like a genuine average joe, loves boxing, has ambitions and seems like a nice guy.

The only reason i think they hate him is because hes from across the pond. Sad and shallow really.

He got the credit he deserved. On the other hand, plenty of people also realized that Malignaggi is not the biggest threat in the world and it was just an easy fight anyway. So why SHOULD he get loads of credit for beating a guy who can't crack an egg? He doesn't ****ing deserve major props for beating Paulie Malignaggi!

If you read the post earlier, I posed the question whether Pac could break the ribs of anyone with a body shot, as Hatton did with Castillo. You ignored this question. I also said that you can tell who is the harder puncher from watching fights by the reaction of the opposing fighter, the impact, the sound of punches etc. You ignored this also, despite calling me ridiculous for stating you can tell from watching fighters, who hits harder.

So these are your "facts" that I cannot argue against? That Pacquiao can't break ribs? Wow...

I'll tell you what -- load up the first Pacquiao-Marquez fight. Listen to Jim Lampley's words as the first bell begins. That should tell you everything you need to know.
