Anybody here think that Pacquiao would have lost to Diaz of the other night?

No he wouldn't of. Diaz isn't that strong, he's just overwhelming. Pacquiao is clearly the bigger puncher. Diaz trying to smother him is playing with fire.

It's funny you say that when he's going after the Lineal Champ for his first fight at 140. He went up to 135 after going to war with JMM and taking his belt at 130 and went up 2 more divisions to take on a light middleweight superstar in a fight where only a handful gave him any decent shot of winning -- all in the span of a year.

JMM for his first fight at 135 went up against a 37-yr.-old who should've lost any lineal claim to santa cruz and then barely escaped against b- Katsidis.

I think Pac would've defended the 135 trinket if making weight hasn't been taking a lot out him, and the opportunity to fight Oscar hadn't come along. Baby Bull also lost convincingly to Grandpa Nate almost 4 months before Pac destroyed David and right after that fight he was calling out Hatton before Oscar came into the picture.

I reckon that the fight would have played out fairly similar, result included.
