He is a Euro-Level fighter, and will probably always will be at his rate.

He showed up at nearly every major fight that was at or near 168 lbs last year looking for an opponent. He (or his American promoter) wrote an open letter to the division, challenging all the other top fighters.

Kessler not getting fights is not for lack of desire or effort on his part. IMO the blame rests solely on Palle.

I had hopes that Kessler would start stepping it up after his fighting with Joe Calzaghe in 2007, but since then Kessler has continued fighting soft opponents and failed to step it up against a quality fighter like IBF light heavyweight champion Chad Dawson.
Seems like he doesn't have to.

He's already crowned as a great fighter for some reason..despite never beating anybody worth a ****.

I think they boost Kessler to make Sloppy Joe look better.

He has a bad rep of running from fighters that call them out. Plus his promoter is a prick and impossible to deal with. Top fighters would rather work with people that wont bail on them at the last minute.
