I don't think so. If anything, his stock may've gone up. People are definitely gonna want to watch him fight some more. He fights tough and is a class act.

I don't think his stock dropped much, if at all.

For me, personally, his stock went up. I was never keen on Diaz, I thought his fans had overrated him a bit, and I never thought he had the skills to hang with someone like Juan Manuel.

He proved me wrong last night, put up a gutsy fight, and lost by KO to a future Hall of Famer. No shame in that.

The Baby Bull is going to rule 135 when Marquez moves up.

No, I think his stock is pretty much the same now as it was before the fight, except his star potential has probably diminished a bit.

No, I don't think so. If he had lost his second to last fight with Katsidis, I don't think he'd be able to come back. Two big losses in a row, both against guys that aren't well known in America, one not well known anywhere, he'd be finished (fair or not.) But, this loss will just set him up for a comeback.

He and Ali Funeka fighting would be an interesting fight for the two rebounding fighters.

It halted..it didn't go up or down IMO...

if he would have won in the pace the fight was going..he would have been a newly born STAR..PPV worthy..etc..but JMM said "No sir!"..but Diaz will be up there..if he doesn't give up boxing for school that is..

Not really I always look forward to seeing him fight again, and looking at what is left in the lightweight division he should be able to make some waves. I remember watching him beat Lakva Sim, no reason to jump off the train after last night.

I will say that against a top level fighter, I think he will fall short most of the time. I really do not see to many top level fighters left at 135 though.

if anything, his stock went UP, even tho he lost, IMO.......when you're involved in a great fight like he was, no matter how it turns out, you're gonna end up w/ more fans than you started with. you're gonna have more ppl checking for your fights afterward.

Pretty much the same level. His performance should get him another title shot soon.
