I'd edge Jirov in this one.
Had an excellent chin at cruiser, & think he'd outwork Adamek.

I was just thinking of putting this match up in the "fantasy fights" section not 15 minutes ago.

I would probably favor Jirov and his body attack taking a 12 round decision, but wouldn't be surprised if Adamek were able to counter him and stop him late. Im retty much on the fence with this one.

This would be a brilliant fight. I think that Vassily Jirov would take it with his vicious body attack, boxing skills and toughness.

Wrong yet again. This fight would in no shape or form be better than Qawi Holfield 1.

Qawi Holyfield was a great fight by far the best cruiserweight fight ever, I remember reading somewhere that Holyfield lost so much weight during the fight he nearly collapsed in the last round.

i shouldnt have said by far as I really like cruiserweight fights that has been my fav division in the last few years. other great fights would include, Mormeck vs Braithwaite, Mormeck vs Bell 1 and 2, Mormeck vs Haye, Haye vs Fragomeni, Adamek vs Cunningham. The cruiserweight division puts the heavyweights to shame over the last 5-6 years.
