I bet with Manchine and Pollo Boricua. If your hover your mouse over the first beer icon / gift under my sig you'll see a message from Pollo which says "I know Valuev Lost, you don't have to pay me anything." I actually did pay him, plus I sent a gift, so I payed more than I should have.

Manchine was cool about it, he asked me not to pay the points (there is a thread about it somewhere). All of us agreed that the fight was a robbery and Holyfield really won, so the bet was basically null and void.

So Chunk, please stop acting like a jerk-off, OK? All parties involved agreed the result is void, that Holyfield won but was robbed, and nobody even wanted paying. If it wasn't for the biggest robbery in recent years, it'd be 9-0 in my sig. Stop making a big deal out of it.

Real money gamblers, I have come across a couple good ones on this site.

Probabilities and odds, it is a rough game to predict every fight for real money and not get crushed at some point.

If you are careful about the fights you bet on, betting only when you believe the odds to favor you, that is being a real good gambler to me.

I will say I have won and lost some pretty sick numbers, but I will say I learned a lot more from my loses then I ever did from my winnings.

You are **** dead on with the Calzaghe thing. Joe would win you money all day guaranteed. I would have bet a lot on him beating Dawson no doubt. But try telling that to Yank Calzaghe haters!!

I don't like Calzaghe, but it was easy to pick him beating Roy. Too many people here were emotionally tied to Roy. Calzaghe is not fake: chin, speed, decent power, workrate, reflexes, he's good.

I would've put all of my points on Calzaghe beating Dawson as well.

BTW, Samurai...who you pickin' for Hatton/Pac?

My heart and head says Pac, but I actually wouldn't be surprised if Hatton pulled it off. He's not a stationary Diaz or a flat DLH. Pac is comin' to fight a great 140 pound fighter, not just a great fighter, a champion...not JUST a champion, THE champion...he fights, he wrestles, he charges...Pacquiao is not there to come and take the title away quickly. He's gonna' have to work for it.
