  • Who is the best gambler on Boxingscene at the moment???

Guys, as Naseem Hamed said: "I aint bragging, but" I think I am one of the best gamblers on Boxing Scene at the moment.

My record is impressive. So far, I've won

    £123 on Mosley
    £6 on Cotto
    and now £10 on JMM

These are actual money not e-points.

Now, I know they are not hugh sums (the latter two), but thats not the point. I transfered most of the Mosely winnings back into my bank account and left £8 to play with. From £8, I now have about £24.95 in winnings. Thats pretty impressive.

Cotto money was won on betting that he would stop Jennings between rounds 5 to 7. A straight bet on Cotto winning returned pittance so I had to bet on rounds to get some money.

Marquez was like Cotto, a straight bet did not return much money so I bet him to win and also bet that he would knock Diaz down for an 8 count. I was right on both instance!

So, are there any other men here or are you all boys who bet e-points only

lol dont hate. Any money won is a good bet won. Anyways over the past 2 years I have had a good streak. I won a few hundo on Mosley last month, a little on Marquez yesterday, and BHOP. I lost 200 bucks on Rafeal Marquez V Vazquez 3 though. The line was +300 at the time I laid down at Ceasers so I let it ride hoping for that 600 bucks but Rafa fell short with that late knockdown, boy I was pissed. Over the last 2 years I am up a few hundred. My guess though is Hitman. The dude drops serious coin on a ton of fights.

The ****man's a good gambler, even though the **** just cost me £10 on Banks.

You know what though? His rate at getting the right underdogs is amazing. I'm talking like 2 out of 3 underdog picks at least, guys with like a 9-1 chance at the betting stage.

LOL. C'mon mang, the odds were poor. I had to bet rounds. Anyway, as I said, I set myself a challenge by leaving only £8. Now I have £24. I'm gonna build only using these funds since if I lose it, I lose nothing. Anyway, I got the Diaz knock down right as most here were claiming Diaz would be too strong for Marquez. Man, I love proving people wrong. Dont hate the "mini player".

                  me.

                  i haven't won an e-bet since cotto-marg.

i won almost a million on that fight which i quickly squandered.

i then got 1 million from kadyo last week and 350k from miron_lang as gifts and i've squandered that too.

i also owe rizoom 500k for the marquez fight and i will soon be broke again.

                  now that's ********!

In fairness, this can only be truly judged by people who put real money on when they're ********. The reason being that what someone may gamble for fun, may not be what they gamble when they're putting real money down. A lot of people tend to go with their heart when they pick a fighter to win a fight, but when you're betting real money that goes out the window.

We'd see drastic changes of opinion if people were asked to predict a fight for a week's wages or something. Even good, knowledgeable posters have admitted that their dislike for a fighter has clouded their judgement. What you also have with someone like David Haye, are people seemingly overrating him, and in the process making a bunch of other people UNDERRATE him, because they're pissed off with what they see as blind nuthuggery.
