The general public has a fixation with records, Diaz has 2 losses on his record now and got knocked out brutally in his last fight, his mind could start to drift elsewhere now with him graduating from college and wanting to be a lawyer someday, he doesn't seem to deal well with cuts either.

And as Asian Sensation said, once a fighter like Diaz gets knocked out the way he was, they're rarely the same again, although time will tell if that is true.

I think the language barrier had something to do with who they were talking to after the fight. I mean I'd love to be a fly on the wall for a conversation between Bernard Hopkins and Marquez. It's just easier for them to talk to Diaz.

Shane Mosley said his favorite fighter besides himself was JMM, so I doubt he was rooting for Diaz.

Wow really? I never knew that. I mean I figured he could understand a good amount just from being around the sport for so long, but I didn't know he spoke it.

                    they just said that.

they pretend to support diaz to cover up the fact that juan was gonna take a dive.

juan gets paid extra , he'll still own 135 since marquez is gonna move up to 140 to fight hatton/pacquiao.

juan was kicking ass until in between rounds i saw oscar give diaz a signal and then i saw juan wink at oscar.

it was an entertaining fight. well scripted.

Diaz is younger so he's a better long term investment

also it could be that Marquez is upstaging them,

I mean going up in weight and knocking people out >> beating guys at your own weight class >>>>>> beating guys way smaller than you
