it seemed like most of GBP was supporting Diaz over Marquez

i know Bhop predicted Diaz would win and i saw the interaction between Diaz and Shane, and some of the other GBP guys and it seems like no one really cared for Marquez.. which is pretty sad since he's been under GBP for awhile.. thoughts?

I'm not sure. They always want the younger guys to do well. It's a longer investment if they succeed which equals more money.

But this year may be the year of the legends. With Shane winning, Marquez winning and Hopkins schooling Pavlik recently.

HBO sure seemed to be biased towards Diaz. At least Lampley was.

Yeah I noticed that last night. I usually don't care about that kind of stuff, but it did seem like Lampley was noticing more of Diaz's punches then Marquez's. His voice would get loud when Diaz landed punches, but then seemed to not notice when Marquez landed some good shots. I still love Lampley, but yeah he did seem to be biased towards Diaz last night.

yeah, i noticed this. along with the ludicrously biased commentary

could be trying to usher in the new talent, but everyone in the industry seems to have a bit of a dislike for Marquez

GBP needs those future stars, Diaz had that potential.

A 37 year old Campbell already exposed Diaz. if JMM is a God then CAMPBELL is a legendary status when he snatched the 3 belts of that overrated fighter.
