Nah son it aint about hatin, i was actually rootin for Mayweather in the Hatton fight because Hatton was fighting annoying as ****, but if hatton was to never lose all that energy that he did in the early rounds he woulda beat Mayweather, he nearly knocked him down, Mayweather was scared in the early rounds until he saw Hatton tiring, and yeh Mayweather have a big chance of beating JMM because he is more powerful plus the weight, but Mayweather will think twice about fighting him because of his explosiveness

I love this reasoning which appears on here regularly: if you have a better defence, you will win. How come fighters that are primarily offensive get slated for being one-dimensional, but fighters that are primarily defensive don't? At 130 Floyd was a beast, truly all-round and extremely dangerous. As he's moved in weight though, his game has become far more defensive and relies a lot on potshotting.

Wilfred Benitez had a greater defence than Floyd, but he still got beaten by a great offensive fighter in Ray Leonard.

Marquez might not have the speed/defence of Floyd, but his offense is very good. To say that he wouldn't stand a chance is ludicrous. Floyd might be better at avoiding shots, but Marquez is better coming forward. I'd lean towards Floyd winning that fight, but I certainly wouldn't say its a foregone conclusion.

Floyd has been fighting at 147 and 154, obviously hes not gonna be as aggressive against bigger guys than him. so now Oscar is talking about others ducking opponents.....Oscar in an interview the other day said he's leaning toward retiring however he'd like to have a fight against someone who will be more easier to hit and doesn't move that much......So that means Oscar is trying to pick and chooose an opponenet he thinks he can beat.....He picked on litttle Manny and thought he was gonna destroy him, hmmmm what happened he got his ass WHUPPED.....And let's see Oscar ducked COTTO, MARAGARITO and PAUL WILLIAMS so he could fight a little guy in Manny Pacquaio, but it backfired.....All Oscar did was go for and command the big dollar fight, which is is exactly what he's critizes Mayweather for seeking!!!
