Floyd would not dominate Marquez or KO him, Although Mayweather would surely win. Marquez has skills like no body Floyd has ever fought. I dont want it, it would be a dull fight any how...but what Mayweather fight isnt?

Its ok you can argue with me. Floyd is a superior boxer compared to Marquez as Marquez is accurate but get hit very cleanly and has been knocked down plenty of times.

Floyd does what Marquez does and more. He doesnt get hit, he doesnt get dropped and unlike Marquez after some rounds tonight, he doesnt get tired.

Marquez let a old Barerra steal some late rounds, he couldnt handle Diaz's pressure early, he got knocked down by Pac, lost to Norwood, got buzzed and lost rounds against Casamayor.

Floyd has been made to look human by Jose Luis Castillo and Jose Luis Castillo only, and he avenged that first fight.

Floyd hits harder then Diaz, he can take punches but doesnt need too cuz he doesnt get hit, and he can knock people out. Floyd isnt gonna let you chill for a couple of rounds with the exception of a few. Marquez is a great fighter and will put up a fight but Floyd will pepper him easily and make him tire and land a fight ending punch in the late rounds.

Now im not a hugger but I am unbiased and give my honest opinions and if you think Marquez wins its cool cuz im sure you can give me reasons just like I gave you reasons as to why Floyd would dominate.

What is Floyd better at than Marquez? His footwork is better, his defense and he has a handspeed advantage.

What is Marquez better at? Offense/countering, combinations, work-rate - and he tends to sit down on his punches more, making him the harder puncher most of the time.

You need to look at the scenario. Marquez has trouble with fighters that throw a lot of hard leather back, and even then he comes out on top. Floyd would give Marquez room to punch, which I think would only work in Marquez' favor because of his amazing offensive/counter offensive abilities.

would he win? I don't know i'd give him a 45% chance. Floyd dominating is out of the question for me, Floyd never dominated a fighter as good as Marquez. Corralles was extremely one dimensional and slow, Gatti simply wasn't as good.

Corrales at 130 was an animal, he also beat Carlos and Genaro Hernandez as well as Hatton (although it was 147) and Jose Luis Castillo who I believe would manhandle Marquez at 135.

Marquez is a beast but he lost fights he shouldnt have lost like the Norwood and John fights (they say it was hometown but Marquez actually got deducted for low blowing) and I actually dont think Marquez has dominated a top of the line opponent.

I will say I have never really considered this fight possible, but now is the time if JMM wants it. Floyd would be comming off a long layoff, and JMM is a very special fighter so it is tough to count him out.

I would favor Floyd but JMM is good enough that he should never be counted out.
