To clarify things, I don't have a problem with putting Lopez on the list. At his peak, there's a strong argument that he's a more effective fighter than either Barrera, Morales, or Marquez (and Zarate as well). He's probably a more versatile fighter than Marquez in the sense that he can lead better as well as counterpunch masterfully. I'm just going by resume, though perhaps I am being too hard on Lopez. He cleaned out 105, just didn't fight Carbajal or Gonzalez. He would have beaten them IMO.

About Lopez not fighting Carbajal or Gonzalez. Lopez was going to fight Chiquita, but then he lost to the Asain and as it goes in boxing King saw no money in that fight. And yes, Lopez struguled with Alverez the first time then started figureing him out when then they stopped the fight and the WBA didn't share the Official scorecards as the WBC did. The rematch Lopez showed how superior he was out fighting Alverez at his own game! Even though Alverez came in 7 pounds over weight losing the title at the scales but Lopez still accepted the fight and beat him. And Alverez was a very good fight i think that DQ agains the Columbian for low blows was bull**** but r.i.p to Halpren he was doing his job. Then he got another title and i forget that fighters name the black fighter and beat him too and after Lopez retired that black fighter got another title then finally lost it to current champ U.Solis so I think Lopez resume looks good, we already know he beat every one at 105 even beating the guy that beat Chiquita before Chiquita lost to him. I think King tried to cash out on Lopez but Lopez retired and there really was no big name yet other then Lopez in or around 108. Props for menitioning those names you did, I've heard Canto and Saldivar were great technitions.

As for people saying Pac was green, lol. Pac if you recall wasn't supposed to lose to Marquez. People forget the **** talking Pac gave to Marquez, but i guess thats because most weren't fans of either then. But Pac talked a lot of **** to Marquez the man to humble Pac in and out of the ring is Marquez before that he was a ****y s.o.b. But as i said everyone gave Marquez a chance but he was not supposed too win after all he beat Barrera. And everyone especially the pinoys were talking **** about Marquez and how this is the new Pac then Marquez goes out and again, beat him but again doesn't get the nod. Morales already lost to Raheem a fighter he would not have lost to and even though he lost it was still close. And if you recall Morales was supposed to be shot after the Barrera fight least i thought so too. And had it not been for what Morales did in that last round against Pac, we would never have seen a rematch, but Morales went southpaw to treat the fans to a great last round even if it ment him risking the fight. The only think different about Pac is he moves away from confrontation a lot more and he don't use his left straight as he used too. And Marquez unless he gets old which he is showing signs already, gets old.
