This was FOTY hands down. Mosley vs Tony was a good fight, but no where near FOTY quality.

You can't compare the two Mosley vs Plasterito was a one sided beating, Marquez vs Diaz was an action packed competitive fight until the end. So far this fight is the leading candidate for fight of the year.

I gave rounds 1 2 3 to Diaz tho noted that JMM could have got a share of the third, 4 and 5 to Marquez, 6 to the bull and then all Marquez!

I had Diaz one up until the KO. But I agree that the commentators were horrible. They only mentioned Diaz's good work, and failed to acknowledge Marquez's fight.

I agree with you completely. JMM had busted up Diaz throughout the fight but the HBO commentators would only acknowledge Diaz' output, WTF?

I felt Marquez could have won this fight easy by staying off the ropes. Everytime he boxed form the middle of the ring he was controlling the fight. When he stuck himself on the ropes, Diaz was getting through with shots, although a lot were hitting the gloves.

I think the fight looked more in Diaz's favour because it appeared he was hurting Marquez on the ropes, when in reality a lot of shots were missing. HBO are fools though.

HBO should stop being bias. It was obvious they were pushing for the younger Diaz. When he got sat on his azz, Jim Lampley paused for over 5 seconds. Good job Marquez. He handled himself like a surgeon in there.
