I don't think he will either. He's got a few more years left in him and there are too many superfights left for him to partake in.

      simple economics.

pacquiao will only fight maybe 2 more times after hatton.

      that leaves superfights only.

a marquez 3rd fight or maybe diaz if he beats marquez (pacquiao vs. a mexican always sells due to mexican-americans being the single most important demographic in boxing)

a mayweather fight (the former no. 1 p4p fighter in the world coming out of retirement to meet the current no. 1 p4p fighter)

a cotto or mosley fight. probably the winner of a cotto-mosley rematch if it happens. (the winner will probably become the lineal 147 champion. cotto and mosley are well known and this fight will sell as the 140 lineal champ (if pacquiao beats hatton of course) vs. the 147 lineal champ which would give pacquiao another belt in another division.)

i think only those 5 guys. marquez , diaz , mayweather , cotto and mosley will be the only possible opponents for pacquiao. unless pacquiao takes a tuneup fight of course......which is unlikely since he's retiring.

Yea, he already filed for candidacy or something last time I checked. Unless he wins in the 2010 election, expect to be treated to more explosive and exciting fights in the coming years. Let's get it on.

remember the 10 million he's making here is 50 million over there.
It's 470 million pesos... Pac's worth is around 1 billion pesos now including promotional earnings...
