Lets play manager - Which 3 fights would set Valero up for a Pacman Mega-Fight?

Here's who I'd try to get him fights with.

First MAB especially if he can beat Khan

Then JMM after he beats Diaz

    Then Hatton

These three fights, assuming Valero can win them all would be the perfect set up (IMO) for a Manny Pacquiao mega fight.

What three fights do YOU think would set up El Inca for a Pacman mega showdown?

Realistically I think it'll be something like Barrios, Casamayor, Marquez then maybe Hatton. This is assuming he beats Pitalua and there will be at least 1 mandatory defense in between fights.

no matter who he fights he ain't getting a fight with pacquiao.

      simple economics.

pacquiao will only fight maybe 2 more times after hatton.

      that leaves superfights only.

a marquez 3rd fight or maybe diaz if he beats marquez (pacquiao vs. a mexican always sells due to mexican-americans being the single most important demographic in boxing)

a mayweather fight (the former no. 1 p4p fighter in the world coming out of retirement to meet the current no. 1 p4p fighter)

a cotto or mosley fight. probably the winner of a cotto-mosley rematch if it happens. (the winner will probably become the lineal 147 champion. cotto and mosley are well known and this fight will sell as the 140 lineal champ (if pacquiao beats hatton of course) vs. the 147 lineal champ which would give pacquiao another belt in another division.)

i think only those 5 guys. marquez , diaz , mayweather , cotto and mosley will be the only possible opponents for pacquiao. unless pacquiao takes a tuneup fight of course......which is unlikely since he's retiring.

the only way he won't stay retired is if he doesn't get elected congressman or senator imo.

if he can get elected he'll stay retired.

remember the 10 million he's making here is 50 million over there.

plus having mansions and bodyguards and maids and drivers are way , way cheaper over there than living here.

Well he spends a lot on charity and on the people around him, it's no guarantee that he'll stop all that after he retires. I doubt he'll retire in the next year anyway.

I'll Play the Promoter's role. Ist I'll match up Valero with JMM right away for the Unification at 135. If valero KO JMM, That's good enough leverage for a Pac fight since Pac fails to Ko JMM. That alone makes Valero a Monster at 135.

Pac already Got Hatton, then Cotto, Then PBF for a line up. So Valero needs to be busy. After JMM, valero needs to step up to 140 lbs. Hatton Probably retired so he'll take the winner of Holt/Bradley. That's a Unified 140, KO them will create more Hype .

Since Pac already Koed Cotto & PBF at 147, Valero needs to step up to 147 to turn Pac's head to him. Valero need to take out Mosley. After that, Pac-Valero will be a Dream reality at 147. This will be between #1 & #2 P4P again. A True Dream match. Pac has the talent to accomplish his schedule. Valero might failed beyond 140 or might as well stopped at 135 with JMM..
