Kinda sucks really, you have the most competitive weight class in boxing. Floyd retires, Williams moves up to JMW/MW, Margarito gets caught cheating, Cotto shows the weight drain excuse for the weak chin was just that, and now we can't get the remaining guys to fight each other.

Who is the best right now? Yes mosley absolutly destroyed margacheato, but lets not forget cotto beat him. I have to still say that cotto is the best Welterweight right now. What do you think???

I know who I like and who I route for, but that doesn't automatically make him the best without debate.

Cotto got the decision over Mosley, but he didn't dominate him. If they rematch it's a real toss up.

Williams is GOOD.
But I don't think Williams is the INDESTRUCTABLE ironman that everyone is making him out to be. Yea, he's got reach advantage, but he doesn't always capatalize on it! I noticed in the past and especially in the Verno Phillips fight his corner had to keep reminding him to keep Verno at bay. He tends to revert back to inside-fighting which doesn't disqualify shorter fighters from beating him.

And Williams stretching himself across THREE divisions?!?! It's only a matter of time till someone takes him down. He thinks everyone in middleweight is now dodging him cause he ko'd Andy Kolle?!?!
He's good but not THAT good.

I say Cotto until someone other than Margarito beats him. It's hard to say though. Margarito beat Clottey, Williams beat Margarito, Cotto beat Mosley, Margarito beat Cotto, Mosley beat Margarito. Who knows.

I do find it hard to include Clottey and Berto in the discussion considering they haven't beaten anyone at the top.

FROM CAGUAS, PUERTO RICO MIGUEL COTTO. Paul Williams beat Indio Quintana with a lucky punch everybody knows that. Shane Mosley was incredible on his last fight I give him credit for that. He fought the perfect fight against the Tijuana Tornado.

Mosley is the best. His fight with Cotto was close, I don't care what is nuthuggers say. Cotto & Margarito got KOed.

PW only beat Margarito, apart from that, he hasn't done much to be called the best.
