Question about P4P Ranking????

My question is why isn't Pavlik on the P4P ranking anymore.

Let me use an example. Cotto was 5th on the P4P ranking when he fought Margarito. Margarito was not ranked on the P4P list and was 3rd best WW at the time.

Pavlik was 6th on the P4P list when he fought Hopkins. Hopkins was 4th on the P4P ranking. They fought at 170(pretty much LHW) where it's Hopkins best weight and Pavlik was moving up.

Both lost their fights. Cotto lost by KO and Pavlik lost by UD. Now both came back with wins overnobodies.

But yet Cotto is still on the list while Pavlik isn't. Pavlik lost to the better fighter yet falls out of the rankings/

Good quesiton. Maybe because Cotto looked good for the first 5 rounds or so whereas Pavlik never looked good. Other than that no clue

Who knows? P4P is a nice accolade to have goin for a fighter, but honestly, people are gettin too concerned wit it nowadays.

That's a very harsh. Pavlik is the man at MW with 3 titles

While Cotto got stopped, at least he looked like he belonged in the ring. Pavlik lost every second of that fight.

And Cotto has also won titles at two divisions, something that a good chunk of P4P rankings are based on.

But Pavlik lost to an ATG at the end of the day while Cotto didn't

I think the ring title at your weight class is better than a title at other wieght class

what list are you talking about? Neither Cotto or Pavlik are on the Ring list.
