    • Whats the problem, everybody know this fight gonna sell bigger than any event in the history of the sport they could guarantee both 20 and be fine and still make money and they ****ing know it.

Or why did oscar/pacq do half of what pbf/oscar did? Economy will probably be your answer, if so then just ignore this reply! No need for recycled rhetoric that doesn't hold water!

I got a feeling Schaffer wasnt very happy on the last PPV on Mayweather/Mosley, they expected 3M PPV buys and it did just over 1M buys. What a total failure for they had spent on the ads alone and what they had paid Mayweather!!!
Thats whay Schaffer is offering Flyod way less money now!!!! Got it?

No its not!!! Mayweather vs Mosley was a total joke doing over 1M PPV buys and Schaffer expected 3M PPV buys. You still expect them to pay Flyod more than $10M if hes fails on expected PPV buys? Remember that ads are not cheap and they went to town with it on Mosley/Mayweather!!!

Schaefer made an offer of $8 million dollars. Mayweather would respond with an extreme counter - a request for a guarantee of $20 million dollars. [details]
                How did that work out?

Why can't you guys just STFU and acknowledge that Al Haymon knows more about boxing financing than you do?

The thread was created in 2009. Why are you arguing over old ass news? You are an idiot if you think a PPV boxing fight selling 1.4 was a joke. How many boxers have sold more than 1.4 without a dance partner?

Schaffer is going to talk out of his ass because he's trying to sell the fight. I guess Manny vs. Cotto was also a failure because TR said the fight would sell over 2 million.

From what I hear, Haymon is a VERY wise man.
