let me put it this way for anyone that doesnt like this matchup...

Id rather watch Pavlik dominantly knock out Trinidad than watch Pavlik dominantly knock out another Rubio level opponent/John ****ing holy **** Duddy, because thats all there is in the Middleweight division right now.

the only other Middleweight fight I would prefer above it would be Abraham vs. Pavlik, for obvious reasons

Dont know about that. lol. I work right across the street from MSG, and i'd say the crowd was 80%+ pro Tito.

Trinidad at anything above 160 is not a good fight....Yes he can punch, but Pavlik i think would KO him now that he got schooled by Hopkins. Trini was one of my favorite fighters back in the day, but he's a long ways away from his better years....he should retire and live comfortably off of what he made during his career....

And that's it. Other than AA, there is really no one else, unless he fights Chad Dawson at a catchweight. In that event, Dawson will eat his ass up!

Pavlik against Taylor in the rematch at 166 looked slower and lacked his usual punching power. If Tito can hurt Kelly and keep up the pace for 12 rounds, he has a chance.

But at this point he's a part time fighter, who last fought over a year ago and isn't getting any younger. His chances are slim but I'd still pay to watch it.

I would like to see Pavlik take on the winner of Wright-Williams. The more I think about it, the more I agree with you. If Pavlik isn't going to try and improve his game by taking on different styles and fighters where he might lose, this is probably the best one out there. There are three real challenges for him- Williams, Wright and Abraham. Middleweight sux right now.

It's not like he can get either Sturm or Abraham for June, if Tito can be ready by June...I say do it

Exactly. Just for the sakes of an entertaining scrap. There is no way this can be boring.

AA vs Pavlik isn't happening any time soon and Pavlik would make more money fighting Trinidad than Duddy.
