Felix Trinidad Wants Kelly Pavlik Fight at 165-Pounds

Inactive since last January's decision loss to Roy Jones Jr, former three division champion Felix "Tito" Trinidad is still looking for big fights. A lot of his critics are telling him to walk away, Trinidad says that he stays in shape and is still fully capable of taking on the big fights. [details]

I thought Trinidad professed he could no longer make any weight below 170.

I would watch it and the fight with Hopkins I would pay to watch. I don't think fighting Pavlik will do anything for his career, but it is good entertainment. i think he could possibly beat Pavlik. Pavlik still lacks a lot and can be circled and outboxed.

the only good thing about this fight would be Pavlik being exposed to the general public. You know a **** LOAD of people would tune in to watch Tito.

Trinidad is still capable of pulling in money, but getting a win im not so sure. But for the most part , he didnt look terrible against jones , it just wasnt the right matchup for him, and neither would hopkins be, i dont see anything different happening in that fight. Pavlik on the other hand would be interesting. Ive yet to see a fighter mix it up with trinidad and pavlik would come to fight, not like hopkins, winky , or jones who are more defensively skilled and prefer to box. Id pay to see either fight just because its a legend taking on somebody relevant...this is boxing , anything can happen

Surely this fight needs to happen. its made for Pavlik. Older guy, inactive guy, but yet a guy with a lot of experience and a good puncher. Good fight.
